Questions from Potential Respondents, with CPB Answers
As of April 4, 2012
Note: Questions that are similar to each other are only listed and answered once.
Q1: Is CPB seeking a facilitator for the CSG Review Panels?
A1: With this RFP CPB is seeking a Data Analyst. The facilitator has already been selected through a previously released RFP.
Q2: When does CPB anticipate it will need data analysis?
A2: CPB expects it will generally require most of the data analysis immediately after each in-person panel meeting. This does not rule out the possibility that some analysis might be required between the meetings.
Q3: Does CPB need analysis in preparation for the first in-person panel meeting in May?
A3: CPB staff has already done a significant amount of data analysis in preparation for the CSG review panel meetings. At this time we do not anticipate any significant additional data analysis before the first in-person panel meeting in May.
Q4: Can an applicant propose to bring additional staff to the in-person panel meetings?
A4: CPB has not been proscriptive about the number of staff that may be assigned to the project or that may attend the in-person panel meetings. The applicant is in the best position to determine the resources it will need to meet the requirements of the RFP and should recommend the appropriate resources in its proposal.
Q5: How much historical analysis will CPB require?
A5: Ultimately this will be determined by the questions raised by the panel. As noted in Q3. above, CPB has already done a significant amount of data analysis, but some historical analysis may be requested by the panel during the course of its deliberations.
Q6: How firm are the in-person panel dates?
A6: The in-person panel dates are fixed and cannot be changed.
Q7: Does the analysis need to be in publishable form?
A7: The analysis need not be in publishable form, but will need to be in an understandable form suitable for presentation to a panel of 20 key system leaders.
