Note: Questions that are similar to each other are only listed and answered once.
Budget: We understand that you’re looking for a cost breakdown that assumes a fixed fee contract; is there a general budget range that CPB is looking for from responding agencies?
RESPONSE: CPB is not disclosing a budget range; however the RFP details the anticipated level of effort. The agency will be retained on a fixed fee hourly basis, with 25 hours required during the initial 3 month period, after which 40 hours per month are expected.
Stakeholders: As described in the RFP, the American Graduate initiative has a wide range of stakeholders – is CPB looking for the chosen agency to develop new relationships and partnerships in addition to fostering relationships with current stakeholders?
RESPONSE: Yes.
Timeline: Is there a schedule of deadlines for certain tasks/projects to be accomplished in the first three months, six months, etc.?
RESPONSE: As noted in the RFP, the initial planning phase is expected to last approximately three months. During this time, the overall workplan, including specific deliverables and projects, will be determined by CPB and the selected vendor. As is typical of any dynamic communications effort, the workplan may be adjusted throughout the year based upon CPB’s priorities.
Workscope: In regards to the comment in the RFP about specific creative/design capabilities, is any work to be done under that umbrella included in the outlined monthly hour expectations? Or is that something to be determined separately at a later date within the project?
RESPONSE: Specific creative/design needs will be determined as the project progress, and will be counted as part of the monthly hours in the contract.
