Assessment of Public Broadcasting's National Center for Outreach
CPB makes a significant annual investment (approximately $1.4 million) in public television outreach through the National Center for Outreach (NCO).
As part of a wider assessment of public broadcasting outreach and community engagement efforts, and to inform future investments, CPB seeks specific information regarding NCO's perceived value by the public broadcasting community, as well as its overall effectiveness in meeting its own and CPB goals.
