Carrie Hayes, Project Manager, America at a Crossroads
Carrie Hayes came to CPB in May of 2004 as Project Manager of the America at a Crossroads initiative. Prior to Crossroads, Hayes was a producer for CNN in Atlanta and Washington, DC. In 2000 she helped launch CNN's Wolf Blitzer Reports. As Blitzer's producer Hayes traveled extensively throughout the Middle East covering the U.S. war on terror. Hayes is a graduate of Oklahoma City University, Charles University's Institute on Comparative Governments and Georgetown University's Institute on Political Journalism.

Dana Miller, Project Manager, America at a Crossroads
Dana Miller was an investigative reporter for 60 Minutes from 1999 until 2004. She did extensive reporting on terrorism and homeland security after 9/11. Miller's reporting on Halliburton's contract in Iraq received a Peabody Award. Her story on the Immigration and Naturalization Service won an Edward R. Murrow Award. Ms. Miller's two-part story on a gasoline additive called MTBE received an Emmy Award for investigative reporting.

Ms. Miller was a political producer for CBS This Morning from 1996 until 1999. During that period, she also had special assignments at CBS' investigative and political units. Prior to this, she headed the research team at ABC News' Nightline. Her reporting on the Los Angeles riots received an Alfred I DuPont Award. Miller attended Brown University and Harvard Law School.

Marty York, Project Manager, America at a Crossroads
Marty York came to the America at a Crossroads initiative in March 2005 as Project Manager. From 1993 to 2005, she was an editor at WETA-TV in Washington, working for "The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer" on both long-form reports and the daily news summary. She has also worked at CBS News and at CNN. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
