Digital Rights Task Force Consultant: Project Timeline

February 21-25

First Digital Rights Task Force meeting. Meeting topics will include overview of the external environment and a review of how some competitors are considering the issue of digital rights. No pre-meeting materials are necessary.

Late March

Second Task Force meeting. Meeting topics will include an update on the range of digital rights activities being conducted within the public broadcasting community as well as an overview of major trends in copyright negotiation.

Late April

Third Task Force meeting. Meeting topics will include possible approaches that public broadcasters could take in their rights negotiation and management.

Mid-May

Presentation at the PBS Showcase meeting by Task Force members to update the system on the preliminary findings.

Late June/Early July

Fourth (and likely final) Task Force meeting. Task force will affirm their recommendations and begin to outline the next steps that need to be taken.
