Request for Proposals
The CPB Community Impact Report will be a compilation of stories of community impact. The bulk of the report will be organized by state. The report will highlight the value of public broadcasting's services to the nation and will speak to a variety of audiences -- the 1,150-plus public radio and television stations around the country whose activities are funded by CPB, the Congress and the Administration who provide the funds administered by CPB, individual donors, corporate, foundation and agency funders who also provide support for public broadcasting activities, and is intended to address both strategic and tactical matters.
In printed booklet form, the Community Impact Report will likely have quite limited distribution, chiefly participants in 2009 National Leaders Meeting, Members of Congress and their staffs. In the PDF file form, mirroring the printed booklet, it will have much broader distribution as a file downloadable from CPB's website.
