2011 Community Service Grants for New Radio Grantees

Request for Applications

CPB distributes the majority of its funds for public broadcasting directly to Radio and Television stations through the Community Service Grant (CSG) Program. CSG funds are used to help noncommercial, educational public radio stations expand the quality and scope of services to their respective communities.

Under current CPB policy, any station able to meet a specified minimum level of service to its community would be eligible for funding. The Radio CSG program is a single grant program consisting of several levels of qualification, and each level has specific requirements that determine the amount of funding that will be awarded to the grantee. Based on the information the applicant provides in its application, CPB will determine the appropriate CSG Level.
