Digital Distribution Fund (DDF) Round 16

Translators

CPB will be accepting applications for Round 16 DDF grants from CSG-qualified, non-commercial educational (NCE) television licensees for the projects.

CPB will accept applications for digital translator projects that convert or replace existing analog transmission translators to/with digital transmission translators from any station that has already received a permit(s) from the FCC. This includes television translators and television booster facilities. Applications for first time translator service projects will be considered on a case-by-case basis. CPB will consider, on a case-by-case basis, grant applications for digital translator projects from applicants that have filed for a permit(s) with the FCC on or before April 29, 2011 but have not yet received the required permit(s).

Stations should consider that this may be the last opportunity to receive DDF funding for Digital Translator Conversion projects.
