TV CSG Diversity Eligibility Training Toolkit

Request for Proposals

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is requesting proposals from diversity, inclusion, professional and board development consultants in the development of a station-focused Television Community Service Grant (CSG) Diversity Eligibility Training Toolkit. In response to a shift in national demographics as evidenced by the 2010 census and to ensure public television stations' staff and boards reflect their communities they serve, CPB has established a new Diversity Eligibility policy for the TV CSG program.

CPB defines diversity to mean a broad range of characteristics, including but not limited to gender, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin and economic status.

CPB is now seeking to develop an online toolkit that will assist and support TV CSG recipients in meeting the Diversity Eligibility policy. The project will deliver an online toolkit and training assets to be housed on the CPB website for use by Stations as they seek to align Station diversification efforts with the new policy. Applicants responding to this RFP must submit a fully developed proposal, budget and a timeline for the toolkit.
