Request for Proposals
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting ("CPB") seeks a data analyst ("Consultant") to review and analyze the impact of a variety of proposed revisions to CPB's radio Community Service Grant (CSG) program and guidelines ("CSG Program"). The revisions will be the recommendations developed during four collaborative meetings with public radio system representatives. The in-person meetings are scheduled to begin in May of 2012, concluding in November of 2012.
The objective of this project is to obtain financial and statistical data to illustrate and quantify the impact of proposed revisions to the CSG Program, recommended by the Panel. The revisions will be proposed taking into consideration the current economic conditions facing public media radio stations, and with the objective of ensuring the long term success and viability of the public media radio system. At the end of this process, CPB will be presenting, for CPB's Board of Directors consideration, a list of the Panel's recommendations to revise the CSG Program, along with the supporting financial and statistical data provided by the Consultant.
The Consultant will be required to work closely with CPB throughout the process, providing preliminary drafts for CPB's review, and discussing and incorporating CPB's input.
