Audio Video Content Production Services

Request for Proposals

CPB is seeking the services of a producer to provide audio and video content for promotional purposes at various times over a two-year period.

Services

The types of services to be provided may include but are not limited to the following:

  • filming public broadcasting awards presentations and related promotional material;
  • producing brief testimonials ranging from 30 seconds to 5 minutes in length concerning CPB senior executives and other public media stakeholders;
  • producing public service announcements and video compilations of public media initiatives ranging between 3 and 5 minutes in length;
  • editing existing video and audio content that CPB might use at national public broadcasting conferences and industry events; and
  • integrating existing audio and video content to create original work.

While not comprehensive, CPB expects the producer will be asked to create a video compilation of the American Graduate initiative for each of the following upcoming events: PBS Annual Meeting, May 13-16, 2013 in Miami FL and the Public Media Development and Marketing Conference, July 11-13, 2013 in Atlanta, GA.

The producer will be expected to work with a short turnaround time for most projects typically providing the final product within a few days of the shoot, without compromising the quality of the product.

Examples of content CPB has previously contracted may be found as part of CPB's American Graduate Initiative, and at: Education Innovation Awards video, and a montage honoring a Murrow Award recipient.
