Design, Writing and Production of FY2012 Annual Report as a Website and a Printable Booklet

Request for Proposals

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) is seeking a contractor to assist in the design, content development and production of its Fiscal Year 2012 corporate annual report, covering the period from October 1, 2011, to September 30, 2012, with options -- at CPB's sole discretion -- to renew the agreement for the same work scope with respect to its FY2013 and FY2014 annual reports.

Offerors responding to this Request for Proposals (RFP) should have experience in marketing communications and public relations, designing and developing innovative website user experiences and writing and designing high-quality reports for businesses and educational or other not-for-profit institutions.

The report is to be prepared in two forms: a website, to be nested as a sub-site within CPB's main public-facing website, www.cpb.org, and a printable booklet in PDF format suitable for users to view online or download for printing.

The completed website version must be delivered in a "flattened" HTML form that does not require CPB to maintain any content management software. The complete set of files required for installation of the annual report website must be delivered to CPB for final inspection and acceptance no later than Friday, June 14, 2013.

Actual printing and binding of the "printable booklet" version is not a part of this project's scope of work. CPB will be separately responsible for the printing production of booklets.
