As the Energy Capital of the World, Houston is the leading domestic and international center for virtually every segment of the energy industry. Houston, the fourth largest city in the country, has had its share of booms and busts. Houston is a great setting for a reporter who looks beyond the press releases for news. The ideal candidate will live and breathe the local economic ecosystem.
KUHF Houston Public Radio’s business reporter is responsible for daily business news as well as enterprising story production. The business reporter also hosts a weekly conversation with leading business experts that is broadcast during Morning Edition.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interviewing skills that match writing and production abilities.
