DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
WRKF, the NPR station serving the Louisiana State Capitol, Baton Rouge, seeks a Development Director to oversee its Membership and Major Donor fundraising areas.
WRKF has a current membership of 3,600, generating over $450,000 out of a total budget of $853,000. The organization is a stand-alone community licensee, currently with 5 staff and a weekly audience of 53,000, proudly serving Baton Rouge for 30 years.
This full time staff member works under the supervision of the General Manager. Beyond directly managing the membership program, including planning and executing pledge drives, the highest priority of the position is to partner with the General Manager to grow WRKF’s major giving support.
