WVIZ/PBS & 90.3 WCPN ideastream® IN CLEVELAND SEEKS HOST FOR PUBLIC AFFAIRS SHOW
90.3 WCPN is seeking a Program Host/Producer for the Sound of Ideas®, recent recipient of the Public Radio News Directors Association award for best call-in program. This daily, high-profile show on radio, TV and web focuses on timely issues and information of importance to Northeast Ohio.
The successful candidate will show the ability to engage the audience in a conversational manner while working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, guide discussion of complex topics, sound editorial judgment and show competency in reporting, newswriting and producing.
Two years experience as a full-time journalist is required, broadcasting experience strongly preferred. Multimedia experience a plus.
