Announcer/Rhythm & News Music Director

Jefferson Public Radio (JPR) seeks an Announcer/Rhythm & News Music Director. The position will be based on the SOU campus in Ashland, Oregon.

The position will host a daily three-hour air shift of JPR's local AAA/Americana/Eclectic music program (Open Air); solicit, evaluate and catalogue new music recordings; and oversee the overall quality of music heard on JPR's Rhythm & News Service. The position will also participate in on-air fundraising, generate airplay lists for the music industry, maintain communication and relationships with industry representatives, maintain and organize the Rhythm & News section of JPR's music library, and assist with various operational and production duties.
