KRTS 93.5 FM Marfa Public Radio

Marfa Public Radio is currently accepting applications for Spring/Summer 2015 Interns. This is a 5 month internship beginning on April 6 and lasting through August 28. Interns at Marfa Public Radio have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in many areas of public radio operations, including (but not limited to) audio production and engineering, broadcast announcing, non-profit development strategies, public media content creation and broadcast technology. Interns participate in a full-time work week, and assist with everything from basic daily operations to unique programming events, such as fundraising drives and regional news coverage.

Who can be an intern? College students and recent college graduates, along with other interested individuals not affiliated with a particular academic institution at this time.

Required Application Materials: a cover letter, a resume, and two references. Letters of recommendation are optional.

Time Commitment: Interns are expected to intern full time (40 hours a week), though part time applicants will be considered.

Pay: Internships are unpaid; however, individual internship housing is provided to full-time applicants.
