Financial Services Manager

KQED is currently seeking a Financial Service Manager to provide full service financial management support to managers and staff of a portfolio of departments and projects. In this role you will work closely with our managers who are submitting grant proposals and reporting on grant progress and deliverables. This position will provide overall fiscal management services to department and project heads as well as independent producers and contractors as necessary. Additionally the Financial Services Manager will ensure that GAAP accounting standards are maintained in our SAP system on a consistent basis with accounting and that the procurement guidelines are being met.
This is a great opportunity to be integral part of the KQED operation. In this role you will utilize your detail orientation and knowledge of government contracts and proposals to aid us in our mission to provide provides programming that inspires, educates and informs.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounting fundamentals. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with a customer service orientation. Must have excellent skills in the Microsoft suite as well as strong skills in database packages.
