PBA in Atlanta, GA seeks ambitious, high energy candidates with the tenacity to embrace an opportunity as an Underwriting Sales Coordinator. Accountabilities:
- Primary Responsibility is to support the Director of Underwriting and a team of six Underwriting Account Managers.
- Create and maintain large inventory of department marketing materials.
- Organize and manage the daily flow of copy approval, production and archiving.
- Act as secondary contact and primary coordinator of our national sales arm, National Public Media.
- Learn how to use and utilize the variety of available research to create compelling marketing stories for the department.
- Assist with any and all other day to day issues as needed in order to support business development and maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have a four-year college degree and successful track record in previous employment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding computer skills that include, but are not limited to, Excel, Publisher, PDF, Power Point, Word etc….Must be very organized with strong attention to detail. Ideal candidate will also be analytical with solid judgment. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and analyzes documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply basic mathematical equations and concepts. Understanding of basic accounting principles and functions.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through out the day.
