KQED is currently seeking a television management professional who will oversee all day to day operations, overall management of the Science and Environment team and the QUEST project series. In this role you will report to the Executive Producer, Science and Environment an will be responsible for the day to day management of platform production schedules, AP and budget including: facilitating regular meetings with platform managers as well as the development and administration of the QUEST project budget.
KQED Science & Environment is a multi-media unit producing content for radio, TV, interactive, education and social media for KQED Science. The project employs a variety of distribution strategies to reach a diverse audience and interacts with 19 community partners who contribute story ideas and collaborate on events and promotion.
We are seeking an individual with strong project management experience with a proven track record of effectively communicating with all levels of the organization. Previous experience managing staff in a multi-platform environment is preferred.
