KCPW is an NPR news station seeking an experienced reporter to cover local government and general city assignments.
The successful applicant will have 2-3 years of reporting experience, and a working knowledge of Salt Lake City and it's government. The position requires experience writing on tight deadlines, adhering to story delivery protocols and a passion for local journalism. Experience editing digital audio and handling a digital recorder is a big plus. Preference given to applicants with previous on-air hosting experience, or experience with Enco software.
Please Note: We don't currently have the funding necessary to assist with relocation, so our preference is for the candidate to be local. This is a part-time position.
