On-Air Host/Web Manager
WBAA-FM / WBAA-AM
Serve as local on-air host during news programming. Manage the WBAA Website. Participate in on-air fundraising.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Computer Science or related area.
- Two years of on-air hosting experience.
- Basic understanding of layout/design software and basic knowledge of Web maintenance software (content management systems).
- Personal computer and related software skills.
- Ability to use standard broadcast audio equipment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- General radio announcing/hosting skills.
- Ability to be creative, pay attention to detail, along with having technical expertise and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred:
- Public radio hosting experience.
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with NPR's content management system.
- Strong writing and editing ability.
Additional Information:

Weekend and evening work may be required for this position.
