Digital Media Specialist

The position is responsible for the development and management of interactive digital services and online media for OETA, using the primary online product suite developed by PBS. Candidate is responsible for converting all of OETA’s digital content to the PBS Bento platform, building out OETA’s online presence strategically via Bento CMS and integrating OETA’s digital media library into the PBS COVE video ecosystem. The position will work closely with the OETA Communications Department, internal content producers and PBS Interactive Team to develop and facilitate OETA’s digital strategy, implementing strategic content documentation/metadata and SEO best practices, maximizing impact of OETA’s online presence and content, monitoring online traffic and engagement and providing input on/researching digital opportunities, innovation and services. Candidate will also provide excellent customer service to all levels of users and encourage timeliness and accuracy of content. Candidate will also be involved with developing online promotions, including digital copy writing, graphics and layout/design. Other duties will be assigned as needed.
