Please Note:

 

Some travel will be required, throughout Wyoming and possibly Northern Colorado.

 

Essential Duties:

 

Conduct statewide underwriting sales by phone, email, written correspondence, and in-person meetings with prospective businesses.

Write underwriting proposals including cost to client and benefits of supporting WPR.

Write and schedule on air underwriting announcements.

Know Federal Communication Commission regulations and keep informed of changes.

Identify and research prospects and follow up by assessing their needs and presenting proposals.

Maintain working relationships and accounts with clients to ensure satisfaction and continued support.

Implement additional sales opportunities through business challenges, holiday and legislative packages, and new media opportunities.

Assist with promotional activities and events.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's Degree and one year of strong sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

 

Three years of proven sales experience.

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of public radio.

Strong desire to work with the business community
