Please Note:

 

This position requires travel, mainly in-state.

 

Essential Duties:

 

Manage specialized relational databases to promote strategic member cultivation. Perform operations to maintain member records, transactions, and donor profiles. Maintain quality control over WPM database operation. Coordinate with national entities for implementation of operations and system upgrades. Maintain FCC and WPM member confidentiality protocols.

Interpret and extract member data for cultivation purposes including segmented direct mail and e-mail communications, reports, and other member growth instruments and initiatives.

Manage member cultivation and stewardship initiatives targeted at a segmented group of members including but not limited to long-time supporters, entry and mid-level supporters, and specific interest individuals and groups. Implement a strong moves management protocol that results in growth. Manage on-going communication activity with supporters and prospects.

Participate in member acquisition strategizing meetings and initiatives designed to double WPM's member base. Develop and recommend strategies for retention and growth to meet WMP goals,

Provide both strategic and on-site support in annual member fund drives on-air and online. Co-manage backroom activities including member communications, customer service, gift management, ledge accounting. Manage volunteer activity for fund drives.

Strategize and recommend events related to member acquisition, retention, and overall growth. Participate in the implementation of events and activities both on site and online.

Provide leadership and support for Interns and volunteers in the WPM fundraising area.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's Level Degree and one year experience working with donor databases or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid Driver's License with a motor vehicle record that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy Found at: http://www.uwyo.edu/auxserv/fleet/Official-Vehicle-Policy/OVP.pdf

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent computer knowledge.

Ability to work fast and accurately.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

Knowledge of public radio.

Record of successful experience in donor building activities.

Familiarity with Wyoming.

Experience working in a higher education environment.

Experience with records maintenance and management.

Experience working with Memsys database or comparable donor database software.
