Underwriting Account Sales

KSJD seeks a part-time Underwriting Sales Director to steward existing clients while cultivating and securing new corporate underwriting clients. A successful candidate will be creative, pro-active, disciplined, and entrepreneurial while possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Duties and Capacities
- Understand and communicate public radio value proposition
- Steward and grow existing corporate underwriting accounts
- Secure new corporate underwriting and giving accounts
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
- Write copy that meets client’s marketing needs and Federal Communication Commission rules
- Work creatively and cooperatively with the program director to place underwriter support messages
- Create and update regularly marketing materials
Compensation
- Base salary plus commission
- Paid Time Off
- Health Reimbursement Account and 401k Benefit.
- 32-hour work week
