Join a national award-winning news team at the home of the Crimson Tide! Alabama Public Radio is looking for a Senior Producer/Host to anchor our "Morning Edition" program. We're seeking a candidate with at least two years of radio experience, including anchoring, board op, writing, and reporting with a good on-air sound. APR was recently honored with the national Edward R. Murrow award for overall excellence, alongside NBC network TV and CBS network Radio. The team also won back-to-back Sigma Delta Chi awards, and was named "Most Outstanding News Organization" by the AP two years running. Ever hear of "Bill Nye, The Science Guy?" His executive producer is our GM. Ever hear of Pat Duggins? NPR's NASA correspondent of 14 years is our News Director. APR is also moving into a $17 million dollar state-of-the-art digital media center. U of A is one of only two universities in the nation with a commercial TV station, a nationally recognized public radio station, and a public TV production unit all under one roof. We want you!
