JOB SUMMARY Supervises production services to create multi-media rich elements for digital distribution. Writes, creates and edits elements for programming using mobile and on-site studio production equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 50% - Prepares, writes, creates and edits audio and multimedia productions, promotions and other on-air material; researches, edits and produces interstitial and feature content in an engaging, creative way to match tone and style as outlined and appropriate for project and digital medium. 25% - Provides client services and project management; identifies, creates and coordinates deliverables. 15% - Prepares, loads and maintains multimedia databases. 10% - Prepares, records and engages with station donors; participates in fundraising activities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Multimedia production experience or a combination of experience and education - Multimedia digital editing skills DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Three (3) or more years of multimedia production experience or a combination of experience and education - Recent portfolio of production work that should contain studio and field sound gathering skills and equipment used (with examples) and creative development of production materials (include print and multimedia examples) - Demonstrated experience with the creative use of sound, text and pictures in rendering content - Demonstrated experience writing, producing and creating multimedia productions - Demonstrated experience producing contextual promotions - Experience with Audio Board operation in recorded and live situations - Experience using Digital Media Tools SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS Early morning, evening and/or weekend hours required; may require lifting up to 20 lbs.; may require travel; must meet district minimum standards regarding driving: http://www.maricopa.edu/publicstewardship/governance/adminregs/auxiliary/4_14.php SPECIAL NOTES The required portfolio should be sent to the Maricopa Strategic Staffing Department located at 2411 W. 14th Street, Tempe, AZ 85281.
