CPB Board of Directors to Meet on April 10-11, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 1, 2024) -- The CPB Board of Directors will meet in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 11 am-4:15 pm ET, and on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 9:30-11:30 am ET. On the draft agenda:

Day 1:

  • Approval of Minutes (public and executive sessions)
  • Chair and Directors’ Remarks – Resolutions of Appreciation (2), Resolutions of Condolence (2)
  • Committee Chair Report: Interconnection
  • President’s Report to the Board
  • Update on Civic Education and Engagement
  • Update from NPR on Ukraine Coverage
  • Editorial Integrity and Leadership Program for General Managers (executive session)
  • Digital Transformation Program – Phase 2 (executive session)
  • Update on Next Generation Warning System Grant Program (executive session)
  • Update on Interconnection (executive session)

Day 2:

  • Digital Infrastructure Update
  • Journalism Updates: Election Coverage and “Lookout Eugene-Springfield Oregon”
  • Future Agenda Items
