Implementation of Next Generation Interconnection System for Public Television
A limited scale test of secondary low bandwidth terrestrial channels in connection with planning for the replacement of public television's current satellite interconnection system. The next generation system will be public television's primary distribution mechanism to and between stations and a gateway for distribution to other public service media partners, supporting enhanced HDTV, digital multicast, and interactive broadcast services.
