New Hampshire Public Radio Inc. will launch a magazine-style talk program that will be a laboratory for developing appealing, yet affordable, local public radio programming. Rather than employ a costly production-intensive model to launch the show, NHPR will produce more local programming with fewer staff members, creating a midday radio show that will become self-sustaining. NHPR will share its trials and triumphs in creating the show and developing the sustainable concept with other public radio producers throughout the country.
