Native Radio Theater

The Native Radio Theater Project will produce 12 audio theater productions over two years for national distribution to Native public radio stations, to mainstream public radio stations and through the Internet. Native American audio and theater artists will create, interpret, present, and perform original radio plays. Native Voices at the Autry National Center will mount a full radio production for a live audience in 2007. The project will increase the skills of Native radio producers. It will also create and maintain a Web site that encourages involvement in the production and broadcast of the programs.
