Whole Lotta Shakin'
Whole Lotta Shakin', the story of rockabilly, is an eight-part documentary series that explores the fast-paced 1950s mix of blues, gospel and country that is a cornerstone of rock and roll. Public Radio International (PRI) will distribute the series with two feeds beginning in April 2007 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On," whose emotional performance by Jerry Lee Lewis made it one of rockabilly's signature songs.
