Youth Voices
This second phase of funding for Youth Voices will create strong editorial, production, and distribution partnerships with five new youth media organizations that represent a diversity of youth ethnically, geographically, and politically. Potential new partners include Radio Arte (Chicago), Youth Communications (New York), and Café Reconcile (New Orleans). The project will produce high-quality programming for local and national distribution. It will also launch youth media network news desks in several content areas: environment, health, and culture. In addition, it will implement a content focus on youth and politics, and it will build out the initiative online and via other new media technologies.
