Public broadcasting receives its funding from a variety of sources: private donors, state and local entities, federal agencies and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. CPB's Public Broadcasting Revenue Reports are the most widely accepted compilation of data on these funding streams and are a general reference for member stations and the public alike. Each annual revenue report contains details for a 10-year period as well as breakdowns of revenue sources nationally for public radio and public television.
