We will long remember with gratitude Mr. Chamberlin’s many years of service to public broadcasting.
Mr. Chamberlin was one of the architects of the public broadcasting service. Through his senior leadership roles at CPB, PBS, WETA, Thirteen/WNET, American Playhouse and American Documentary/POV, he made the arts and education accessible to unserved and underserved members of our society. His vision and dedication helped make public broadcasting a leading institution at the national and local level.
We share the sorrow of Mr. Chamberlin’s public media family at his passing and extend our deepest condolences to the Chamberlin family.
