Lynda Clarke is the Vice President of Content Grants Management at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB).
In her role, she works under the direction of the Senior Vice President and Chief Content Officer, and with the Vice Presidents of Radio, Journalism, Diversity, TV and Digital Content to ensure the efficiency of the content grant-making and project management processes and procedures.
Ms. Clarke joined CPB in June 2003 as Director of TV Programming Projects, where she managed numerous grants for television content. In October 2011, she was promoted to Senior Director, overseeing all grants funded by the TV Programming, and Diversity and Innovation departments.
Prior to coming to CPB, Ms. Clarke had a 25-year career as a paralegal with entertainment law firms in the Los Angeles area, as Director of Business Affairs at the dick clark company, and as a freelance consultant and production executive in the Boston area. Her responsibilities included production legal work on numerous television programs and series, theatrical films and public television documentaries.
Ms. Clarke has an M.A. in Radio and Television and a B.A. in Communications with emphasis in broadcasting from San Diego State.
