The Director, Digital Content is a senior newsroom supervisor, overseeing the development, execution and evaluation of Lehigh Valley News's digital strategy. This position includes both short-term (daily) planning as well as long-term. You'll build the plan for a seven-member digital team and then execute it.

The VPM News team produces award-winning journalism for our NPR station in Richmond and distribution across our digital channels to over 2 million people in VPM’s coverage area. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PRODUCER

About the Position:

This new position will be the station’s first Community Engagement Producer, responsible for recording and producing audio in the studios, at live events, and in the field. We seek a sharp, hard-working, and team-oriented person who has a great ear for audio and is dedicated to helping others make their audio recordings and productions sound their best.

This position produces news and public affairs programs for distribution on multiple Montana PBS platforms. Under the direction of the Montana PBS News Director, and working cooperatively with the News and Public Affairs production team, this position will research, write and produce programs addressing current and cultural events, politics, the environment, economic, social and community issues across the state.

We're looking for a collaborative team player who participates in our daily newsgathering, maximizes our digital audience and produces, edits and publishes content to our website. You must have a strong understanding of news, workflow and making decisions in a fast-paced environment - all with a positive and team perspective.
