Chicago Public Media is one of the nation’s largest and most respected NPR-member organizations and is home to WBEZ 91.5 FM, This American Life, Sound Opinions, and Vocalo. We serve a listening audience of nearly 500,000 and broadcasts throughout Chicago and the surrounding regions. We have an innovative company culture and state-of-the-art facilities. In addition to studios at Navy Pier, we have reporters stationed at four neighborhood bureaus located in the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana.

The Arts Producer will act as liaison between the local, national and international arts community and KDFC in San Francisco, producing content that demonstrates and reinforces Northern California’s vital role as a national center for music, arts and culture. This person understands the creative process, is an expert at conducting interviews, and editing content into produced packages. Candidate must demonstrate professional radio announcing ability, and must have expertise in audio production (video a plus).


Classical KDFC Radio in San Francisco has recently become a listener-supported non-profit station. We’re seeking an experienced Director of Major Giving to support the operation in the Bay Area. This Classical service is a sister station to KUSC in Los Angeles. We seek an experienced development officer to start a major giving program from the ground up. We also plan to launch a campaign in 2012.


Program Director

WRNI/Rhode Island Public Radio seeks its first program director to build on the momentum from its successful independence campaign. The program director will be in charge of all marketing and promotion for the station on all media platforms to maximize audience and consider the conception and launch of new local programs.
