This is an opportunity to join the Ball State University Media Services Department Engineering Team. This position will create layout and design, and also modify our existing CATV RF Distribution System. Maintain and repair cabling and equipment throughout all academic buildings, residence halls, and apartments on campus that currently have this service; measure signal strength at amplifiers or room cable drops using field strength meter; observe meter to evaluate reception and determine the cause of faulty reception; adjust and repair distribution system. Research and recommend equipment purchases when needed.

This position requires an associate’s degree or equivalent in electronics or related area and one through three years of related experience; must be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.
