Hourly Rate: $34.00 - $35.00
Location: Seattle, onsite

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Install, maintain, repair and monitor broadcast and production equipment: master control, servers, cameras, routing switchers, converters, monitoring, satellite reception, distribution, and test equipment
- Create and maintain systems documentation
- Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with Engineering team to design broadcast and production systems
- Order and maintain inventory of supplies
- Support network, media storage, archive and edit systems in broadcast and production environments
- Analyze, diagnose and repair broadcast servers and network systems as needed
- Follow best practices for maintaining the security, availability and integrity of broadcast and production media systems and data
- Must be able to communicate effectively within the Engineering department and with other departments as necessary
- Work with Producers, Directors and Production Managers to identify technical production requirements
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, manufacturers, contractors, and broadcasters
- Train others to use broadcast audio/video and computer equipment and systems
- Function as Engineer-in-Charge (“EIC”) during studio and remote productions, and post production
- Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of the CPM

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Advanced working knowledge and ability to operate and maintain audio, video, broadcast electronics and computer based systems required
- Understanding of a broad range of computer operating systems, applications and hardware required
- Working knowledge of IPv4 layer 2/3 networking technology including NAT and network hardware required
- High power RF and CAD skills preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical fabrication techniques preferred
EXPERIENCE
- AA degree in electronic technology from an accredited technical school or equivalent experience required
- Five years’ experience in broadcast television or equivalent required
- Two years’ experience as an EIC for studio or remote productions required
- Project Management experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to regularly type on a keyboard
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 30 pounds required
- Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable means of transportation to meet requirements of the job
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools and various machines
- Ability to work outside regular business hours as needed
