Program Coordinator I, Radio Station $40,712

The Program Coordinator I, under general supervision, coordinates the planning, development and implementation of the assigned program.



  • The Program Coordinator I at Tarleton Radio serves as the Development Director
  • Responsible for all fund raising initiatives and development activities at Tarleton Radio Responsible for underwriting sales, including sales in surrounding communities
  • Plans and executes on-air fund raising drives
  • Identifies grant opportunities and responsible for grant applications
  • Manages radio station membership and donor relations
  • Uses resources, such as Radio Advertising Bureau and Greater Public Media to assist in fundraising goals
  • Manages all underwriting and donations and invoices through Quickbooks
  • Works closely with University development office and Deans office to obtain data and identify new fundraising opportunities
  • Coordinates program communications, marketing and advertising, social media, and newsletter for the Radio as well as the College
  • Compiles program statistics and maintains program records and databases
  • May assist in supervising program staff and works closely with student employees on various projects
  • Assists in supervision of Graduate Assistant, responsible for marketing and social media
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Two Years of Related Experience


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.

Verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
