WEKU, a nine-station public radio network that serves Lexington and Central and Eastern Kentucky is searching for our next reporting team member.

We are looking for a journalist who enjoys writing, reporting and producing sound-rich features, interviews and short-form content.

This position does require some travel to cover stories in the region however it is considered a primarily remote position.

WEKU provides all news staff with a laptop computer, digital recorder, and all equipment and software you need to create award-winning content.

You should have at least 1-2 years of journalism experience and have a passion for the mission of public radio service.  A college degree is required.
