Reports to: Vice President, Operations & Engineering
We’re looking to hire a Unit Manager for our Producer Center Management Operations team. You’ll be one of our go-to people when it comes to our IBEW Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and ensuring accuracy of our technicians’ timesheets. You’ll also be responsible for project finances and collaborating with the scheduling team.
In an average week, you can expect to:
- Work with the Payroll Manager when reconciling technician timesheets (biweekly).
- Track all production related expenses against the budget and provide status reports.
- Assist the scheduling office with tracking leave balances and technicians’ daily schedules.
- Know and understand the IBEW CBA.
What success looks like:
- After 30 days, you’ll have built relationships with technicians and the rest of your team.
- After 90 days, you’ll have a thorough understanding of the CBA and what is allowable.
You must have:
- Working knowledge and proficiency with File-Maker Pro, Word, Excel, and computers in general.
- Ability to function under pressure, distractions, and in a time-sensitive environment.
- Emotional intelligence to communicate with staff at all levels.
- Availability to occasionally work irregular shifts.
You should have:
- High aptitude with math.
- Minimum 6 years production experience (to include television project, or production management at a national/network level), Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
