Nashville Public Television (NPT) seeks an experienced Video Editor. Works independently and collaboratively to provide NPT with creative, efficient, high-quality post-production and editing. Provides editing services by operating non-linear edit systems to creatively assemble video/audio elements into completed segments and/or programs. Also occasionally operates electronic studio production equipment, including cameras, graphics and monitoring equipment.  Executes post-production projects by creatively selecting and composing visual elements to tell compelling stories for television and digital platforms. 

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Minimum three years of experience in video editing on non-linear edit systems. Thorough understanding of post-production equipment and techniques. Demonstrated skills in non-linear editing.  Graphics and animation experience a plus. Experience with Photoshop, After Effects and Adobe Premiere. Computer literacy required.
