Job Description:

The Community Idea Stations is seeking an enthusiastic and extremely organized Administrative Assistant to provide executive level support to the CEO of our governing Foundation, the Virginia Foundation for Public Media (VFPM). This is a full time position in Richmond with benefits that reports directly to the CEO of VFPM.

Successful candidates will have at least three years’ experience working in an executive support role, preferably in a non-profit organization. Candidates must be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people both virtually and in person and should possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates should have expert level knowledge with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and should have experience working in relational databases.

Candidates should be able to work a flexible schedule including night and weekend hours and must have a valid Virginia driver’s license with a clean driving record.
