WETA, Washington, DC's public television and classical radio station is seeking an Editor/Camera/Tape Technician to function as an AVID editor for both national and local productions, perform studio camera operation and production tape operation for live, network news programs, and other technical functions for the WETA Production Center clients and to perform related special projects or other duties as assigned.
The incumbent should have knowledge of video and audio signals and scopes and how they are used to maintain the highest technical standards in compliance with FCC, PBS Network and company production policy, flexibility and adaptability in work assignments and schedules assigned along with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Minimum of ten years’ experience utilizing Avid and minimum of five years’ experience operating Production Tape live with experience in Media Asset Management Systems is sought.
