Vice President, Human Resources
Be a part of WETA’s dynamic Human Resources team. WETA, DC’s public broadcasting station has an exciting opportunity as the Vice President of Human Resources. This is a senior management position that requires sophisticated and mature judgment, outstanding interpersonal skills, broad knowledge, and hands-on experience across all areas of HR – recruitment, training, benefits, compensation, employee relations, organizational development and manager/employee coaching. Bachelors or master’s degree in related discipline and/or SPHR certification. Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible HR experience across all major functional areas, including at least 3 years as a manager/supervisor. Familiarity with “best practices”. Experience in broadcasting, a union environment and non-profit organization helpful.
