Job Description:

WPSU Penn State is seeking an experienced video and television Production Coordinator. This position will evaluate and prioritize internal and external production requests, coordinate production schedule to maximize the effective uses of WPSU facilities and production crew capacity, communicate scheduling conflicts with Production Manager and producing staff and work to resolve them in a timely manner, and assist in financial reporting to production clients. You should enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and should also have strong organizational skills and be technologically inclined. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Candidates should be familiar with production technology, processes, and workflow. Experience with scheduling technical services staff is a plus. We seek candidates who are able to demonstrate experience and ability to advance Outreach's diversity initiative. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
