Together We Can

Sesame Workshop is creating a series of 20 1-2 minute music videos for children grades K-2 exploring American democracy and civics topics. Featuring catchy, original songs performed by children and celebrities, the videos introduce developmentally appropriate civic education skills such as participation (volunteering, community helpers, voting), rights and rules (leaders, founding documents) and democratic principles (branches of government, important symbols). The video series premieres on sesameworkshop.org, Sesame Studios YouTube channel, and local station broadcast and digital platforms in 2024.
